Papers on Social Representations –  Peer-Reviewed Online Journal

In association with the editors of Papers on Social Representations, the conference organizers wish to propose a special issue which can provide an opportunity for disseminating some of the works presented during the conference.

All participants to the Oxford conference can submit their manuscript for this special issue according to the thematic field of the conference.

This special issue is intended to deepen specific theoretical and methodological issues raised from positioning theory, as well as to develop the contribution of the Positioning Theory perspective for the understanding of contemporary issues (e.g., environment, health, globalization social changes, education, security, and so on).

In 2017, we are delighted to welcome you to a full three-day conference, focused on the contribution of Positioning Theory to research, as developed by Rom Harré and others. The conference will take place at the beautiful Oxford University, England on 9th July – 12th July 2017.

The 2017 Positioning Theory Conference has been designed to attract early-career to senior academics, higher degree students, community researchers, and practitioners who were interested in research, from across the world. The conference will be presented in English.

The key purpose of the 2017 Conference is to develop a high quality, interactive event that contributes to the development and growth of Positioning Theory research communities globally. The 2017 theme is:

“Positioning Theory Across the Disciplines”

The Conference is open to contributions from all social sciences disciplines and research areas, including, as an example, teaching methods, communication studies, International Relations or conflict analysis as well as to contributions from social theory or philosophy of science fields.
